Shankar’sĀ father is unfortunately in the ICU and approaching his end-of-life. Shankar has received 2 months of SSO assistance, and has been able to tide over for his living expenses, saving some money for emergency use. However, due to his father’s situation, all funds have been used up. They do not have the money to funeral preparations or for transport to the hospital.
At present, there is a pressing need for Shankar to travel to the hospital daily to receive updates on his father’s condition, and prepare to say goodbye. Reshmi (wife) is also expected to start work …
