For Auntie Hua
On June 28, Auntie Hua had a mild stroke, which left her with some paralysis and muscle weakness on the right side of her body.
It was a frightening turn of events for someone so full of life, but if there’s one thing we know about Auntie Hua, it’s that her spirit is unshakable.
When we visited her at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Integrated Care Hub (ICH), she greeted us with her usual warmth, cracking jokes and chatting away as if she hadn’t just faced a major health scare. She’s now undergoing intensive physical therapy to regain her strength and mobility. The road ahead will be long, but true to form, she’s taking it one determined step at a time.
To walk this journey with her, we’ve set up a private campaign on Ray of Hope for any Dymonite who would like to contribute. Every dollar raised will be matched by Dymon, and Ray of Hope will ensure the funds are disbursed monthly to help with her day-to-day needs while she’s away from work.
If you’d like to contribute, you can donate any amount you’re comfortable with.
Every donation will help Auntie Hua focus on healing without the added worry of finances.
Thank you for showing up for Auntie Hua the way she’s always shown up for us.
