The case workers met Mdm Maria for her second disbursement recently. We were updated that her children are coping well in school. Mdm Maria also told us that she looks forward to her mum’s visit whenever she comes over from the Philippines, as an additional pair of hands while she is always busy with her baby. She is often afraid of neglecting her older kids, and tries her best to put everything in place at home while her husband works on bringing the bacon home for the family. Recently, some sponsors have also reached out to Mdm Maria to help her with her children’s milk powder and diapers so that the funds that she received can be used for the family’s groceries and the children’s other needs.
