Our casework team provides short-term financial assistance to families and individuals who have fallen on hard times. As Singapore’s first and only crowdfunding charity, we are able to mobilize the community resources and support for those who need it. Through continuous engagement with our community and social impact partners, we explore collaborative approaches beyond crowdfunding to provide opportunities for our clients to become more self-sufficient. We run campaigns to raise funds to provide interim financial assistance. This may be to ease the pressure from an unexpected crisis or to support the beneficiaries in bridging the gap to enable a desired change in your beneficiaries’ family’s situation. Casework team would need the support and funds to expand their outreach and to service more who fall through the cracks, by working together with locum social workers around the island who can reach out to more beneficiaries effectively. The team play a vital role in providing guidance, resources, and advocacy throughout the journey toward self-sufficiency. The funds will enable us to implement various initiatives that aim to identify and assist those in need. Specifically, the donation will be utilized for the following purposes: Conducting Multiple Home Visits: The funds will cover transportation costs associated with conducting multiple home visits. These visits are crucial in understanding the unique needs of our beneficiaries and tailoring our assistance accordingly. 3. Case Supervisor’s Salary: Our exceptional case supervisor consultant, who is a senior social worker with extensive experience, has been instrumental in building capabilities and enhancing the skills of our case managers. The funds will help to sustain her valuable contribution as she continue to mentor and guide the case team effectively. We firmly believe that the donations will empower us to make an even greater impact on the lives of marginalized individuals within our community.
