Ray of Hope is Singapore’s main crowdfunding platform, directly linking donors with families in need and offering comprehensive support beyond financial
aid, including casework and intervention programs. Every campaign undergoes rigorous verification to ensure donations assist individuals overlooked
by traditional aid channels, prioritizing those facing illness, injury, or unemployment, as well as marginalized groups like injured migrant workers
and stateless individuals.
Ray of Hope serves as a last resort for those who have exhausted other avenues of assistance. Despite collaborating with government agencies and
charities to complement existing aid structures, sustaining our operations presents ongoing challenges. Despite absorbing costs for outreach and intervention,
our expenses exceed incoming funds. As we celebrate our 13th anniversary, we urge you to support our mission of uplifting the community.
Events like the charity dinner and walkathon generate crucial funds to continue our efforts.
Walk for Hope is a 6km walk symbolising Singapore’s 60-year journey and aims to raise funds to support those in financial hardship. The initiative also
promotes a culture of giving.
Our charity gala dinner aim to raise funds and 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting Ray of Hope’s operations and work, that touches the
lives of our clients (including ex-offenders, migrant workers, multi stressed families, people with special needs, isolated seniors), and initiatives that
bring together dedicated volunteers and community partners.
Additionally, we encourage our supporters to initiate peer-to-peer campaigns, to utilize special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries to crowdfund
for our cause. Funds from these campaigns are ringfenced specifically for our 13th birthday celebrations.
