Last year, Beyond’s work focused on helping those who were badly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during the circuit breaker. We quickly reorganized ourselves to provide food and financial aid, digital devices, internet access, and employment to society’s most vulnerable. But the critical assistance we rendered was only possible because of the generosity of spirit of our volunteers and donors – from caring corporations to compassionate private citizens.

We are grateful beyond words that the Singapore community stepped up to support our initiatives. And we’re humbled that we were trusted to be a conduit to channel the nearly $4 million collected towards helping families survive.

Here is a round-up of the good you helped us do:

Employment

• 345 people received emotional assistance
• 66 income generation projects
• 1 youth-led initiative on employment competency

Food Ration

• 96,117 cooked meals
• 5,301 food ration packets
• $801,110 worth of grocery vouchers to 1435 families

Financial Assistance

• $3,526,400 disbursed and committed to 2006 families (till June 2021)

Technological Improvements

• 634 devices distributed
• 1 void deck router for 300 households
• 70 students received online tutoring
• Ongoing support for NeuPC applications
