Ray of Hope case workers visited Mdm Chua after her dialysis last week to pass her first cheque! The elderly says that she is humbled to be receiving help from the people around her. She wishes to thank the donors for helping her family out as they are currently struggling with the high rent each month. Housing wise, Mdm Chua’s son updated us that he has received news on his rental flat application. He has applied for a 2-room flat so that he can re-appeal for a lower rent based on his income, and will update us when he hears from HDB.
