The case workers met Mr Soh for his cheque disbursement recently. He updated us that he is in the midst of selling his purchased flat and HDB will be allocating a 2-room rental flat to him. This would lighten his financial burdens tremendously as he has been unable to upkeep his housing loan repayment and this has resulted in him feeling extremely stressed up while he continues to care for Madam Hou. The donations raised by Ray of Hope came in handy as his SSO assistance ended just before our disbursement, and the renewal will take 4-6 weeks to be processed.
