In 2004, Rachel was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease where her body’s immune system attacks her tissues and organs. The 44-year-old has been managing things on her own with little to no support from her family. Due to her medical condition, Rachel is unable to seek employment to support herself. She is now reliant on the $550 social assistance given every month.
Ray of Hope would like to raise $1,800 ($300 x 6 months) to help Rachel defray her daily necessities such as groceries and adult diapers.
