Giving families an opportunity
Staycations! Who doesn’t like them, right?
A staycation allows us to recharge and offers a little reprieve from our problem-filled, stress-filled life. While opportunities for staycations could be common for the majority of the public, it is an experience most vulnerable families lose out on due to financial circumstances.
We invite RoH’s families to attend a 2D1N family retreat called ‘Retreat with Hope’ hosted by Kampung Siglap. ‘Retreat with Hope’ provides an invaluable opportunity for these families to fully enjoy their break without being distracted by money-related worries. While the children enjoy exciting activities, including Laser tag, movie night, and other games, parents can join their children or take a well-deserved breather. We hope this will strengthen relationships within families through active and creative outlets. As such, Retreat with Hope aims to not only provide these families with rest and rejuvenation, but also empower them to prioritise their mental health, contributing to their resilience in the face of adversity/ real life challenges.
Donating to this campaign will provide us with the necessary resources to make ‘Retreat with Hope’ a reality for our families. Together with your support, these families will not only be able to spend quality time with each other, but we will be building a supportive community for them.
You will be supporting these families with the following expenses for the retreat:
- Retreat Cost and Meals: $1,770
- Laser Tag Activity: $375
- Transportation Allowance: $80
