Belinda: A Spirit that Inspires 
Belinda’s energy could light up a room. A teacher, mentor, and community icon, her life took an unexpected turn with a HER-2 breast cancer diagnosis. Chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and months of treatment haven’t dimmed her spirit — but the financial strain has taken its toll. Now in remission, Belinda dreams of returning to the classroom. Picture a tiny flat filled with the laughter of two young children. Their mother, Nada is at the centre of it all, juggling two jobs and countless sacrifices to keep her family afloat. But life is changing – her husband will soon begin serving a sentence, leaving her to carry the load alone. Nada’s not asking for much, just enough to keep her children safe and cared for. Sham once navigated the streets as a taxi driver, but a devastating stroke left him with memory loss and visual impairment. Rofiqul has always put others first. His recent accident wasn’t just bad luck — it happened as he shielded a fellow migrant brother from harm. With only one month of paid leave, Rofiqul now faces a daunting challenge: covering basic expenses while continuing vital physiotherapy. We’re raising $852 to help Rofiqul focus on his recovery without the stress of mounting costs.
