Why Ray of Hope Exists:

Ray of Hope is Singapore’s only crowdfunding charity committed to serving emerging and unmet needs. We provide a safe, trusted space where anyone can ask for help — because no one should be left behind.

Too often, people slip through the cracks of existing systems: a non-citizen student struggling with school fees, an injured migrant brother with no access to support, a father unable to cover his child’s urgent medical costs.

These are the lives we stand for. And with your help, hope becomes possible.

Who Ray of Hope Serves:

We serve anyone who works, studies or lives in Singapore regardless of nationality and citizenship status:

🟠 Primary Group: Singaporeans from low-income families facing sudden hardship such as illness, injury and sudden unemployment, or caregiving responsibilities.

🟠 Extended Support: Vulnerable groups living within our community who face unique barriers to traditional aid, such as migrant brothers, stateless individuals, and foreign spouses/children in crisis.

Our 3 Pillars:

🟠 Crowdfunding:
Campaigns that provide financial assistance to families and individuals in crisis, as well as community-based campaigns that align with Community Impact’s focus on emerging and unmet needs.

🟠 Casework:
Every campaign whether for an individual or a community initiative is verified by our case or partnerships team, respectively. Ensuring accountability and dignity at every stage.

🟠 Community Building:
Working alongside corporates, NGOs, ground-up groups and government agencies to mobilise resources, co-design initiatives, and extend help to groups excluded from conventional support. These partnerships allow us to amplify impact and address gaps more holistically.

Addressing Unmet Needs:

30% of the funds raised through this campaign will go towards purchasing Farmpacks from local farmers, represented by The Local Farm.

Each $50 Farmpack includes:
🟠 4 packs of leafy vegetables
🟠 1 pack of mushrooms
🟠 1 pack of pea sprouts
🟠 2 trays of hen eggs
🟠 1 pack of low GI brown rice

These Farmpacks will be distributed either directly to Ray of Hope beneficiaries or to beneficiaries of our partner groups/organisations.

By sourcing directly from local farmers, we’re ensuring fair trade while supporting Singapore’s farming community in a sustainable way. More importantly, this also means more multi-stressed families have access to fresh, healthy produce for their families.

Amplifying Impact:

The remaining funds will be matched by Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Scheme (EFR) through Ray of Hope’s Community Building & Outreach which will amplify the impact of your contribution. The matched funds will enable Ray of Hope to sustain outreach, case management and verification processes, allowing us to remain responsive to needs others may not be structured to reach.

Ray of Hope does not replace existing aid. Instead, we step in to bridge urgent gaps where conventional systems may fall short. We work closely with social service agencies and government partners so our efforts complement, rather than duplicate, existing schemes. Through Community Impact, we ensure families who may otherwise go unseen are supported with dignity.
