The purpose of fundraising is to invest in the capacity of Better.sg to build and support programmes that either build the technology capabilities of the non-profit space or directly support volunteer-run projects. We aim to organise Beacon 2024, a technology for good conference that will have at least 250 attendees. Similar to last year, we will also aim to organise masterclasses covering technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and low-code / no-code tools. Finally, we hope to work with at least 10 non-profits or ground-up initiatives through our 1,500+ volunteer base to support their work.

The funds received will be used in the following areas:

● Supporting Volunteer-led tech for good projects for the betterment of Singapore

● Beacon 2024 -a technology for good conference that will have at least 250 attendees to help the social impact sector level up through masterclasses in tech topics such as AI, no-code/low-code tools, sharing from the tech industry, and more

● Support our work with other non-profits through our 1500+ strong volunteer pool
