Objective:

Migrant workers contribute invaluably to Singapore’s growth and development, yet their struggles often go unnoticed. This cricket tournament serves as an opportunity to recognise their sacrifices, honour their contributions and show our appreciation for the hands that lay the cornerstones of Singapore’s development. And what better way to do that than by doing it through cricket?

Cricket is a pastime and passion for many migrants from South Asia. By harnessing the power of this beloved sport, we aim to create an inclusive environment where they can showcase their talents, build new bonds, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. Beyond Boundaries 2023 is a platform to gather individuals from different walks of life, promoting camaraderie, empathy, and social integration.

The Tournament:

Beyond Boundaries 2023 will feature 10 teams comprising of 5 migrant workers and 5 local residents who share a passion for the sport and a desire to make a positive impact. The tournament will be structured in a friendly and competitive format, encouraging healthy competition and teamwork. Through this shared experience, we hope to break barriers and bridge cultural divides.

Community Engagement:

All proceeds from the tournament, including registration fees, and donations, will defray event costs and directly support Ray of Hope’s initiatives to build a stronger community. We encourage everyone (cricket enthusiasts, corporate teams, and individuals) to participate in Beyond Boundaries 2023. Enjoy thrilling cricket matches and meet new friends!
