2. Main target: Elderly with limited financial resources, i.e. isolated, not receiving support from children

Criteria for RoH community members:

1. Community members who have regularly attended RoH’s community events
2. Individuals / families with limited community / family support
3. Has a senior in each of these households

Name: Daniel S/O Nganasekaran

Brief background: Daniel is the main caregiver for his mother, Mdm Mena, since her stroke in 2020. His mother also has multiple medical conditions since her 50s including diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, dementia, and thyroid issues. She is fully bedbound and unable to move her limbs. As such, she is fully dependent on him. While they receive assistance from SSO, AIC and the Eldercare fund, these are insufficient to meet the increasing cost of their daily needs. We would like to recommend for monthly support in the form of NTUC vouchers to cover Mdm Mena’s hygiene and wound dressing costs, diapers, nutritional mik and fresh groceries.
