Why Ray of Hope Exists:

Ray of Hope is Singapore’s only crowdfunding charity committed to serving emerging and unmet needs. We provide a safe and trusted platform where individuals can seek financial help, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Many struggle in silence because they do not qualify for aid through existing systems. A non-citizen student unable to afford school fees. An injured migrant brother with no access to support. A father unable to pay for his child’s urgent medical procedure.

These are the people Ray of Hope stands for.

By identifying and verifying genuine cases, we connect them with donors, corporates and volunteers. When we uplift someone in need today, we create a cycle where kindness is paid forward and resilience grows stronger with every act of giving.

Who We Serve:

Ray of Hope serves anyone who works, studies or lives in Singapore, regardless of nationality or citizenship status.

🟠 Primary Group: Singaporeans from low-income families facing sudden hardship such as illness, injury, unemployment, or caregiving responsibilities.

🟠 Extended Support: Vulnerable groups within our community who face barriers to traditional aid, including migrant brothers, stateless individuals, and foreign spouses or children in crisis.

Our 3 Pillars:

🟠 Crowdfunding: Campaigns that provide financial assistance to families and individuals in crisis, alongside community-based campaigns focused on emerging and unmet needs.

🟠 Casework: Every campaign, whether individual or community-based, is verified by our case or partnerships team, ensuring accountability and dignity at every stage.

🟠 Community Building: Working alongside corporates, NGOs, ground-up groups and government agencies to mobilise resources, co-design initiatives, and extend help to groups excluded from conventional support.

Ray of Hope’s Community Building and Outreach supports our core work in responding to emerging and unmet needs across Singapore.

When requests reach us, they rarely arrive neatly packaged. Sometimes it is a short note from a school counsellor. Sometimes a hospital bill with no clear next step. Sometimes a call from a social worker who has run out of options. What we receive are fragments. What families are living through is far more complex.

This fund ensures we have the capacity to slow down, see the full picture, and act with care, transparency and dignity.

Beyond financial assistance, this campaign supports the ongoing work that keeps families from slipping further into crisis. Linking them to other services. Referring them to pro bono legal or social support where appropriate. Following up over time so that progress is sustained and hardship does not simply return in another form.

Matching funds from this Tote Board EFR campaign will go directly toward sustaining Ray of Hope’s outreach, case management and verification processes, enabling us to remain responsive to needs others may not be structured to reach.
