For years, Fazali (45) and Diana (41) have faced one health challenge after another, but their belief stays the same. They want to stay as independent as they can.

“We work because we want to stand on our own feet,” Diana shares. Fazali adds quietly, “I am not fit but I try.”

They lean on each other in ways that keep them hopeful even on the harder days.

Help Diana Restart Work With Dignity

The past few years have changed life for Diana. A workplace accident in 2022 left her with a partially torn ankle that still limits her mobility. Soon after, doctors uncovered more health concerns, and she underwent major surgery that kept her in recovery for months. Along the way, she began treatment for anxiety and depression, as her body tried to catch up with everything it had been through.

Her psychiatric review in late 2025 finally brought a bit of light. Her doctor felt she could return to work and did not extend her medical leave. With the family’s SSO support ending in January 2026, Diana knows she needs to rebuild their stability sooner than planned.

Choosing Work That Fits Her Situation

Some jobs are now out of reach. Long hours on her feet, worsens the strain on her ankle. Fast-paced and high-pressure settings make her anxious. But she still wants to earn and contribute.

Food delivery feels like something she can manage. It allows her to pace herself, follow up on medical care, and work around her energy levels.

Ray of Hope previously helped Fazali begin his food delivery through his campaign. Diana hopes to do the same, but the equipment she needs is beyond what they can afford.

Although Fazali suffers from chronic health issues, he does his best to work around his health. Having two PMAs allows them to each manage their health and work schedules independently and effectively—without relying on one another’s support or compromising their ability to earn a sustainable income.

Their savings have been drained by medical bills, transport to hospital visits, and daily needs.

What Diana needs your support with:

  1. A Personal Mobility Aid (PMA): $1,950 (inclusive of delivery charges)
  2. Food delivery uniform package: $75
  3. New work phone: $188

The PMA will ease the strain on her ankle while travelling to pick-up points The uniform package is required for her onboarding and platform approval. A reliable work phone is essential for food delivery, as the job depends on stable GPS, navigation, and functioning delivery apps.  These three items are the final steps standing between Diana and her ability to start earning again.

Your Support Gives Diana A Chance To Restart

When you help Diana begin this work, you are giving her more than equipment. You are helping Diana step back into work with confidence after years of feeling held back by circumstances beyond her control. It eases the worry at home and helps her rebuild what illness has taken from her.

Diana does not want to rely indefinitely on assistance. She wants to earn again, to stand on her own feet, and to give her family a steadier year ahead.

Your support brings her closer to that goal.
