Ct experiences significant pain in her left hand due to arthritis, to the point that she trembles and is unable to move when the pain flares. Her operation is scheduled for 7 April, however there is concern that she would not be able to eat during the recovery period of 2-4 weeks. Her kitchen is currently unconducive, requiring 2 hours to cook simple bee hoon. She also previously contracted an infection due to her previous hand surgery wound being in contact with water as she needed to cook for herself.

Vinesh is currently unable to do the cooking for her as the current set up is unconducive (no counter space) and too time consuming for his busy work schedule. Ct is unable to eat outside food as much of it is unsuitable for her.

A multi-function cooker would make cooking less cumbersome and allow Mdm Rani to access food while in recovery. Vinesh will be able to cook a quick meal before he leaves for work, and do the cleaning when he returns home.
