“Our hope is simple, to be able to earn a living by ourselves and own a house.”

The Power Of Love

“It’s okay for me to go hungry, but not my wife.” These words from Fazali, a former security officer now confined to a wheelchair, capture the essence of an extraordinary love story. Despite his heart functioning at just 35% and being unable to stand without support, Fazali has found a way to provide for his beloved Diana – if only we can help him get there.

A Series of Unexpected Events

Life changed dramatically for this hardworking couple in 2018. Fazali, once a dedicated security officer, suffered a heart attack that required six weeks of hospitalization. During his recovery period, a fall resulted in a knee fracture, leading to another year of medical leave. His health continued to deteriorate, with his heart now functioning at less than half its capacity. Gout has severely limited his mobility, requiring him to use a wheelchair for outdoor movement.

Meanwhile, Diana’s world was equally shaken when a workplace accident in 2022 left her with a partially torn ankle. Diagnosed with anxiety and depression, her challenges multiplied when she received a diagnosis of complex atypical hyperplasia in late 2024, necessitating major surgery and ongoing recovery through June 2025.

Finding Light In The Darkness

Despite these overwhelming obstacles, Fazali refuses to give up. “I have a wife, it is my responsibility to take care of her, and not let her go hungry,” he says with quiet determination. His love for Diana shines through. This dedication has led him to discover a work opportunity in food delivery services—a flexible option that accommodates his mobility limitations while allowing him to earn a living.

Starting A New Chapter As A Food Delivery Rider

To transform this opportunity into reality, Ray of Hope is fundraising $2,287.60 for Fazali’s work needs, which include:

– PMA: $1,854

– Work phone: $188

– Food delivery uniform package: $155

– 6 months of mobile data: $90.60

Giving Back Even When They Have Little

Despite their own struggles, Fazali and Diana embody the spirit of community support. “We always share what we have, be it food or furniture through FB Blessing groups,” Diana shares. Their generosity, even in times of hardship, speaks to their character and values. As Diana reflects, “Our hope is simple – to be able to earn a living despite our state and own a house.”

Your Contribution Will:

– Enable Fazali to begin work immediately as a food delivery rider

– Create sustainable income for essential needs

– Reduce dependency on community financial assistance

– Restore dignity and independence to a deserving couple

Every dollar contributed moves Fazali closer to his goal of providing for his family.

As he says, “[My wife] gives me the strong will to move forward.” Their faith remains unshaken, with both expressing trust in divine providence.

Diana shares, “I try to think positively and put everything in the hands of God,” while Fazali affirms, “My God is always here to help.”

Help us give Fazali the wheels he needs to roll forward into a more secure future. Every contribution, regardless of size, brings Fazali closer to his goal of providing for his family with dignity and independence.
