The heart of Lunar New Year isn’t found in lavish gifts or elaborate banquets — it’s in the little things: the laughter around the table, the clink of chopsticks as a family tosses Yu Sheng, and the feeling of togetherness that lingers long after the meal is over. At Ray of Hope, we want to ensure that no family is left behind this festive season.
WITH YOUR KINDNESS, WE CAN:
🍊 Bring families together over a reunion lunch filled with warmth and celebration

HONGBAO FOR HOPE 2025
The heart of Lunar New Year isn’t found in lavish gifts or elaborate banquets — it’s in the little things: the laughter around the table, the clink of chopsticks as a family tosses Yu Sheng, and the feeling of togetherness that lingers long after the meal is over. At Ray of Hope, we want to ensure that no family is left behind this festive season.
WITH YOUR KINDNESS, WE CAN:
🍊 Bring families together over a reunion lunch filled with warmth and celebration
🍊 Share the joy of tradition, with mandarin oranges and Yu Sheng
🍊 Ease financial worries by providing NTUC vouchers to help with daily essentials
🍊 Create moments of joy, with a lively lion dance to fill hearts with awe and smiles
Every donation, no matter the size, brings a family closer to celebrating the new year with dignity, joy, and hope. This Lunar New Year, let’s bring abundance not just to our own homes but to the homes of others who need it most.
THE FAMILIES YOU’LL BE SUPPORTING:
Jasmine is a single mother of two young children, navigating the emotional and financial challenges of raising her family alone. Her struggles are compounded by her elder child, Kaycia, who has Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and epilepsy. Kaycia needs constant care, daily medication, and supervision, which severely limits Jasmine’s ability to find stable employment. Despite immense stress, caregiver burnout, and strained family relationships, Jasmine is still trying to rebuild her life for her children.
An eldercare worker since 2020, Zixuan has always strived to create a warm, stable home for her boys. But this year, her challenges intensified. After enduring a toxic work environment, she made the difficult choice to resign in October. She has since secured a new job as a parcel deliverer, but the financial and emotional weight on her shoulders remains heavy.
Belinda’s energy could light up a room. A teacher, mentor, and community icon, her life took an unexpected turn with a HER-2 breast cancer diagnosis.
Chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and months of treatment haven’t dimmed her spirit — but the financial strain has taken its toll. Now in remission, Belinda dreams of returning to the classroom.
As we celebrate abundance this Lunar New Year, let’s remember those who long for the same. Give as we receive, and make this season one filled with hope and possibility.
