Zixuan, 35, is a mother fighting to keep her family together. In August, her world was turned upside down when her husband suddenly walked out, leaving her alone with their two young sons, ages 6 and 1. On top of the emotional shock, Zixuan was left to manage the debts he left behind, and the full weight of caring for her children fell squarely on her shoulders.

For Zixuan, her boys are her world. She has always aspired to create a warm, loving home where her sons can feel safe and cared for. As an eldercare worker since 2020, Zixuan poured the same love and dedication into her job, helping others and building a life for her family. But this year, things took a difficult turn.

The Struggles of Financial and Emotional Burden

In April, Zixuan’s husband quit his job unexpectedly, forcing her to take on the financial responsibility for the family. She trusted he would help repay the loans she had taken out to cover their expenses, but instead, in August, he left without a word, leaving her to face the mounting debt alone.

At the same time, Zixuan endured a toxic work environment that left her feeling isolated and emotionally drained. The hostility became unbearable, and eventually, she made the difficult decision to resign, with her last day being October 20, 2024. Despite these challenges, Zixuan remains determined to rebuild her life for the sake of her sons, having already secured a new job as a parcel deliverer.
