Impart Mental Health Care provides mental health interventions and services to youths facing life/psychological adversities. These services are directly provided in the youth’s community spaces, as these youths might not have the ability or desire to seek treatment from public health care institutions, thereby addressing the treatment gap experienced by many youths. 

At the same time, we are well aware that community-based services are meant to complement professional services. So Impart Mental Health Care has always sought to bridge our youths to clinical care whenever possible. Enter Redwood Psychology, a psychology private practice consisting of registered psychologists and counsellors. The vast majority of Impart’s youths do not have the wherewithal to access private psychological care, and Redwood Psychology is here to meet that need through the following plans: 

1. Redwood Psychology will match every dollar you donate on a 1-1 basis, up to $50,000.
2. Redwood Psychology will provide clinical sessions at a heavily subsidised rate to Impart’s youths and staff, drawing from the funds raised.
3. Redwood Psychology will support Impart through joint research and publication on a pro-bono basis.

If successful, the total of $100,000 will allow Impart’s youth and staff to receive approximately 400 clinical hours, all paid for from the funds raised. 

Funds raised through this campaign will directly fund Impart’s youth and staff to receive free-of-charge fees waived for clinical sessions from Redwood Psychology.

No. Impart has yet to receive its Institution of Public Character (IPC) status.
