Kindness Kitchen SG has been distributing grocery bags to underprivileged families living in rental flats.

In preparation for Ramadhan, we are crowdfunding for 300 grocery bags for households in our carelist, which are primarily the elderly and the underprivileged. Each grocery bag contains items that recipients can use to prepare for sahur and iftar during Ramadhan.

Ramadhan Grocery Bag ($30 each):

• 1ltr Cooking Oil
• 1kg Sugar
• 1x Bee Hoon
• 1kg Flour
• 1x Kopi O Sachet
• 2x Sardines
• 2x Condensed Milk
• 1x Instant Noodles
• 1x Jumbo Bread
• 1x Fresh Milk
• 1x Wheat Biscuits

Each grocery bag will also include 1x 5kg Thai Fragrant Rice and 1x BAM/Maryam/Rotab Dates, which will be sponsored separately.

Ray of Hope will partner Kindness Kitchen SG for the distribution of the Ramadhan grocery bags.

About Kindness Kitchen SG

Originally known as For The People & Community (FTPC), which started in 2012, volunteers distributed grocery bags around rental estates with the aim of ensuring that the elderlies and underprivileged were cared for. Operations were expanded in 2016 when FTPC began collaborating with home chefs to prepare and distribute cooked meals in a project known as Social Curries, designed to feed families.
