This campaign is for families in need of assistance to put food on their table.
With the increase in the cost of living, many families are struggling to get basic needs. While most are getting/applying for public assistance, most are not eligible as they are working or have fallen through loopholes to get assistance.

To keep costs down, we will approach suppliers and wholesalers directly to buy in bulk, so that we can afford more items for the bags.
This is our second crowdfunding campaign with Ray of Hope. Our first campaign was in 2021 which raised $8730.
About Kindness Kitchen SG
Originally known as For The People & Community (FTPC), which started in 2012, volunteers distributed grocery bags around rental estates with the aim of ensuring that the elderlies and underprivileged were cared for. Operations were expanded in 2016 when FTPC began collaborating with home chefs to prepare and distribute cooked meals in a project known as Social Curries, designed to feed families.
From these community-based movements, Kindness Kitchen was born in June 2020. Our operations were initially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but instead of disappointing families who have been on our carelist during these extremely challenging times, we decided to rise above it by collaborating with Our Kitchen SG and renting out a space at Jalan Pelikat, and increasing the frequency of our operations. This effort would not have been possible if not for the unwavering support we have received from our patrons.
