Mdm Nora is a single mother of 4 children. Her eldest daughter is currently seeking for job employment while her three younger children are still attending school. Previously, Mdm Nora worked as an event coordinator. Unfortunately, her industry was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and she was unable to continue working. The single mum is actively looking for a new job, but the current job economy made things more challenging for her.

Mdm Nora now relies on social service assistance which ends in November 2020. The money she receives is only enough to cover all her monthly expenses. She shared with us that she is struggling with her family expenses, especially when it comes to providing her school-going children with pocket money.
