backtogroundzero is organising a guided nature walk for 15-20 children from low income families to connect from nature and themselves. The walk will have a strong focus on wildlife appreciation, such as an intertidal exploration or a rainforest trial. Nature walk participants will also attend a complimentary session from the team’s environmental- and socio-emotional literacy programme — Mr Mole’s Mindful Magic, where they’ll learn key concepts of emotional recognition and management.

Details of the event will be updated nearer to September, and will be implemented in accordance to the safe distancing regulations at that point in time.

The funds from this crowdfunding campaign will go towards:

• Transportation

• External vendors for guided nature walk

• Snacks / beverages

• First-aid provision
