About Penpals in the Community
Penpals in the Community is a ground-up initiative that started in 2020, with the goal of sparking conversations between different communities to build friendships through letter-writing.
We facilitate meaningful connections and provide the opportunity to meet new people, cultivate social cohesion and form inter-community bonds.
How will the funds be used?
The funds will be used to support the operations of the initiative, measuring the effectiveness of the initiative and expanding the initiative to other communities such as migrant workers and mental health patients and their caretakers. We also hope to use the funds to scale up the initiative by investing in a reliable platform to facilitate more collaborations, track performances and feedback between penpals and within the team.
