Uncle is a 73 years old boss for a fabrication company located at Kranji. . . He is a very friendly uncle and had regretted his decision not to close company and retire this year.

Sadly, due to Covid 19, business is very very slow. Paying for rental and workers salary are a must… Government foreign worker’s levy of $750  is simply not enough becos employer still need to pay for dormitory, basic salary, factory rental, insurance and etc… which means employer still need to pay at least $1500 (2/3) exclude the foreign levy. Construction work has been a halt since April till today… almost 5 months…. no work from construction sector means no income at all… Hearing him saying, he has not got his salary for a Long time, I felt so sad.

I was helping him on all his worker’s TLQ to new dormitory but awaiting from MOM approval yet. Just assisted him in shifting from his existing factory to new factory. That means a lot of money spent on deposit and rental at new offices  Some of my workers are helping on his fabrication works too.
