Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances.
Unfortunately, financial barriers often stand in the way of providing education to underprivileged children, particularly those without Singaporean Citizenship, while calling Singapore home.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances.
Unfortunately, financial barriers often stand in the way of providing education to underprivileged children, particularly those without Singaporean Citizenship, while calling Singapore home.
We envision a future where every child in Singapore can attain a basic education.
Your donation isn’t just money.
It is the gift of education for students like:
Muzammil, a 16-year-old student, is navigating a critical juncture as he readies for national exams this year.
His parents, Mdm Nisha and Mr Abdul, owned a food business that collapsed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Struggling with a $40,000 debt, the couple filed for bankruptcy and is enrolled in the Debt Repayment Scheme (DRS). Due to Mdm Nisha’s PR residency status and Mr Abdul’s LTVP holder status, their subsidies and support are limited.
Muzammil, who also holds PR citizenship, is not eligible for education subsidies as a foreign student. His family has been unable to afford his monthly school fees of $580 since 2021.
9-year old Abraham has waited a long time to start school.
Abraham is an American citizen and initially lived with his natural father in the United States. However, in 2021, Abraham was placed in foster care because his natural father was incarcerated. The Child Protective Services in Dallas had ruled that the sole custody of Abraham would be given to his Singaporean mother, Lynn, in August 2023.
As a Long-term Visit Pass holder with developmental needs, he was unable to be placed in mainstream primary school until a psychological assessment was completed. With community sponsorship, Abraham started school in July 2024. Nonetheless, the family is not out of the woods. Lynn is a single parent bereft of family support and works as a hospital porter.
Your donation will ensure Abraham gets to stay in school.
Amir is the eldest of four siblings and should be completing his O’ levels this year.
Yet, high educational arrears have disqualified him from attending school since the start of 2024. The gritty teenager has not given up hope and has been committed to self-studying and checking in with friends from school to keep up with the curriculum.
He looks forward to completing his education so that he can help his parents support the rest of his siblings through school.Â
The Education For All Giving Circle is part of Ray of Hope’s approach to targeted giving.
We pool resources to meet specific needs, ensuring no child is deprived of a basic education. Our circle steps in to bridge the gap when individual campaigns fall short.Â
The EAGC is committed to building and inspiring a community that supports students from low-income families living in Singapore. Singaporean and non-Singaporean students are eligible and must be nominated by their social worker or school welfare officer.
The Fund aims to alleviate financial burdens so that students can concentrate on their studies better. This includes support for children who may require intervention programmes.
