TrueLove.Is is a ministry of 3:16 Church that provides stories and resources for Christians who want to know more about LGBT issues.

TLi’s Mission

To share real life stories of individuals who have come out and come home. Contribute perspectives to the ongoing conversation on LGBT issues relevant to the Christian community. Inspire hope in God’s unconditional love through the church family.

Campaign Writeup

The Lord has placed a passion in my heart to be the voice of the brothers and sisters in Christ who experience unwanted same sex attraction. TrueLove.Is is started for the church, by the church and we aim to welcome our brothers and sisters to come out and come home. For too long, the church has been silent on this issue and instead of helping them finding a safe place, many has left the church and some God due to the hurt they experience in church. TL.I believes that the culture of the church can be a safer place for struggling individuals especially in the area of sexuality brokenness.

We have since released 17 videos by 15 story shares and their family and mentors. The stories have reached 50 nations, garnering 3 million views. We have assisted 39 individuals who sought help from our hotline. Through our story and hotline service, a teenage boy who wanted to have sex change in China received help needed, stopped taking hormones pills, reconciled with his dad and cancelled his sex change appointment. Now he continues living as a man.

TrueLove.Is is not tapping our church funds and I believe that God has set this up for many like-minded individuals  to sow into this kingdom work. We aim to film 100 stories in 10 years, I believe we will reach the goal sooner than we expected.  I am hoping to raise $10K to be used to film one of the upcoming video for 2020, Karen’s Story.  She was one of the first to file for same-sex marriage in Canada and after a whirlwind of events, came to encounter the love of God and experienced a changed life in Jesus.
