Mr Guna, 59 years old, took to drugs due to the overwhelming stress that he was facing because of his family and financial issues. The 59 year old used to work as a security guard and earned a salary decent enough to support his family. Unfortunately, things went downhill form 2007 after his encounter with drugs. Mr Guna admits that it has been an uphill battle from then on. With arrears accumulating, Mr Guna feels it is time to change for the sake of his family, who has been supporting him selflessly throughout this period of time.

Our case managers recently met Mr Guna. He has been discharged from the halfway house since October 2018 and has been working hard as a cleaner. He is trying his best to turn over a new leaf for his family and is currently stable at his workplace.
