Ground-Up Initiative (GUI) “Hand to Hand. Heart to Heart” Fundraising Dinner

By the end of 2023, the land lease of GUI’s current home base, a 2.6-hectare land near Khatib MRT station is to be returned to the authority for redevelopment. Therefore, this fundraising dinner which will be held at Orchid Country Club on 27th Oct, 7.30pm-10.30pm, is to help raise funds for GUI to rebuild the new site.

Funds raised will be used to pay all expenses related to this campaign, and the balance will go towards the construction cost of the new site.

2. How do I get my ticket(s)?
Please show us your confirmation email at the reception counter when collecting your ticket(s).
3. How do I know where my seat is?
You will know your allocated seats upon collection of ticket(s).
4. Does my children/ward need a ticket?
A child would need a ticket when he/she is sitting on the banquet chair same as the other adult. Children in baby chair do not need a ticket. Only 1 baby chair is allow per table due to space constraint.
5. Are food and drinks allowed?
No outside food and beverage are allowed into the venue.
6. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, please use the lift beside the grand staircase to go up to level 3 where the ballroom is.
7. Are there free parking?
Yes, complimentary parking available.
8. Are there shuttle bus services from the nearest MRT station?

There is no refund, exchange, upgrade or cancellation once ticket(s) are sold.
10. Are my ticket purchases tax deductible?
Unfortunately not. GUI is a non-profit Society which have yet to become a Charity body with Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting GUI in building its new site.
