With the pandemic magnifying the challenges migrant workers in Singapore faced, our mission of creating an inclusive society through education and awareness grows stronger than ever. Books are a great way to broaden a child’s worldview and stimulate their minds while imparting some important life lessons.
Targeted at ages 3-6, the Migrant x Me — Book & Blocks Play Set, consisting of a book and a set of wooden puzzle blocks, seeks to encourage parents and children alike to see and appreciate the contributions of our migrant workers, embracing their personhood; and giving ears to their state of welfare.
With every donation, a part of the proceeds will also be donated to Ray of Hope’s Migrant Worker Giving Circle, a pooled fund that ROH will tap on to top up to migrant worker-related campaigns. In the $100 and $200 options, your donation will also allow a child from a low-income family served by Ray of Hope, the opportunity to receive the play set:

Migrant x Me is a registered non-profit social enterprise that seeks to build an inclusive Singapore society. Through experiential programmes and volunteer opportunities, we seek to raise awareness about the migrant worker community among youths. We hope that this would encourage Singapore’s youths to treat everyone, especially migrant workers, with dignity and respect.
