TAA Trust Fund received more than 3,600 applications for financial aid in 2020, which is a further increase in the number of applicants compared to recent years. 20% are first time applicants.

TAA relies on public donations to sustain the financial assistance for our beneficiaries from vulnerable low-income families. TAA, therefore, will still need to run the annual Charity Campaign in 2020 despite the current COVID-19 pandemic outbreak that has severely negatively affected TAA’s initial and also contingency Campaign plans.

About TAA Trust Fund

TAA Trust Fund was founded in 1992 with a mission to help the poor, needy and the less fortunate.  Additionally, our beneficiaries include patients from low-income families who are suffering from chronic diseases and illnesses such as kidney failure, stroke, cancer and diabetes.

TAA Trust Fund became a Charity Trust under the Charities Act in 2006. TAA was accorded the status of an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) in 2007, ensuring that TAA operates with full transparency in compliance with good governance. TAA is part of the SG Cares movement and a member of NCSS.
