Criteria for RoH community members:

1. Community members who have regularly attended RoH’s community events
2. Individuals / families with limited community / family support
3. Has a senior in each of these households

Name: Mr Chua Kim Huat (65 years old)

Brief background: Uncle Chua works as a rag-and-bone man but his income is barely sufficient to cover his family’s living expenses. His 5 year-old son Vincent, was born with Congenital Heart Disease. His condition is severe and requires a Bidirectional Cavopulmonary Connection (BCPC) cardiac surgery. The couple has 4 children (10, 7 and 5 – Vincent & twin) and his wife lives with them in Indonesia.
