Ray of Hope previously assisted Faruk and raised some funds for him and his family.

Faruk, in his attempts to get well so that he can continue working, has been diligently attending physiotherapy sessions weekly. On top of the pain that he experiences almost daily, Faruk is also seeking treatment for his diabetes, and as his employer has refused to issue a Letter of Guarantee which could allow Faruk to seek treatment at no cost. As a result, Faruk has accumulated more than $4,000 of arrears at the hospital over the past months. He is extremely worried that he would no longer be allowed obtain his medication which he relies heavily on.

Without an income, Faruk has little means of paying for his medical expenses, including transport for his doctor’s appointments. He has been relying on loans from friends and has only managed to pay $150 to-date to continue receiving his diabetes medications.

Ray of Hope would like to raise $3,000 ($500 x 6 months) for Faruk. The assistance will support Faruk’s medication and transport needs for the next 6 months.
