Campaign Story
Mr Raja is currently serving the end of his sentence in a halfway house. He has less than a year remaining on his sentence.
He will begin a forklift course once courses start again at the halfway house. They have been put on hold due to the Covid-19 safety measures. He aims to work in a logistics company once he completes his sentence. Mr Raja used to work as a senior technician prior to his incarceration.
Mr Raja has 2 elderly parents at home, who are retired, and 2 younger brothers who are married with their own families. Mr Raja wants to help his parents once he is able to earn a stable income, but that will take some time.
Mr Raja also suffers from depression and is currently on longterm medication from IMH.
Ray of Hope would like to raise $1,350 for Mr Raja and his elderly parents for 3 months. $300 a month will go toward Mr. Raja’s expenses and $150 a month in NTUC vouchers will be provided for his elderly parents.Â
