What happened to Mdm Imah?
Mdm Imah is a 42-year-old single mother caring for her two children aged 18 and 16. In August 2021, she was diagnosed with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis, a painful condition affecting the tendons in her wrists and thumb. She has been working as a cleaner since December 2022, but her condition recently worsened, causing excruciating pain in her wrist and impacting her ability to carry out her work and daily tasks. When the chronic pain became unbearable, she sought medical help. Her doctors have certified her as unfit for employment until August 2024.
