Our case managers recently met Mr A. He will be returning home at the end of this month. He informed us that he was supposed to be getting compensation of 11% (S$11,000). However, the insurance company objected to the amount and the hearing has moved to the common law where the entire process can take up to 2 years. Mr A feels grieved by this as the money could have been used for his treatment in Bangladesh.
