Mr Raj is currently serving the last year of his sentence at a halfway house.
He will begin on a 10-tonne forklift course once the halfway house is allowed to send its residents to courses. He will also undertake an Electrical course. He will start working part-time as a forklift driver soon too.
He wants to do well to support his family. His mother and brother have a good relationship with him and encourage him now when he needs it the most. However, his mother is a heart patient who has undergone a by-pass and ballooning and is a full time caregiver to his brother. Mr Raj’s brother is handicapped and bedridden. He requires a full-time caregiver to help him with his daily activities.
Ray of Hope would like to raise $1,350 for Mr Raj and his family for 3 months. $300 a month will be to help Mr Raj with his daily expenses. $150 a month will be in the form of NTUC Vouchers to help Mr Raj’s family.
