The Struggle

Mdm Shikin, 32 years old, has 6 children between the ages of 3 to 14. Both Mdm Shikin and her husband used to work as Grab Food Delivery riders until the recent ban of the PMD scooters. Mdm Shikin told us that even before the ban, the $600 that the family was receiving from the Social Service Office (SSO) was barely sufficient when they have so many mouths to feed at home. Financial Breakdown

Ray of Hope would like to raise $1,200 ($600 x 2 months) to help Mdm Shikin with her family’s groceries expenses while the couple seeks employment and as they renew their public assistance.

*Mdm Shikin’s public assistance has ended in Dec 2019.
