Proud Spaces is a new community space set up by and for the LGBTQ+ community in Singapore.

Space is at a premium in Singapore, but the LGBTQ+ community faces additional barriers compared with the general population. The community therefore faces significant challenges in finding safe and conducive venues for their activities.

At Proud Spaces, we offer LGBTQ+ community groups free use of our multipurpose spaces, which are suitable for various events ranging from intimate one-on-one counselling sessions to large-scale workshops and talks. Since we opened our doors in March 2024, we have supported dozens of events involving hundreds of attendees.

We rely on the generosity of our volunteers, supporters and fellow community members to fund and operate Proud Spaces. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue our mission by supporting our rental, operational and manpower costs.

The launch of Proud Spaces is a critical first step towards laying the foundations for a permanent community space in Singapore where every LGBTQ+ individual will have the opportunity to live authentically and forge meaningful connections to thrive.

About Ray of Hope

100% of your donations through Ray of Hope goes to people in need. We do not take a cut from the funds. We even cover the 3rd party credit card charges, if you choose not to, that other crowdfunding platforms deduct from your donation for campaigns.

100% of all campaigns are also fully verified, so you know your funds goes to real people with real needs.

We take donor accountability very seriously – with yearly audited accounts and strong governance in place to ensure that your donations is properly channeled to the beneficiaries.
