The Resonance Project is an “experiment” into how much good a team of youth can really bring about. Since we started in 2021, we’ve weathered a great number of challenges. Yet, these challenges have never been a reason to turn back, quite the opposite. These challenges have exposed our unique ability to grow, adapt and overcome as young people. Every challenge has turned into opportunity. With the help of close to 700 members past and present, we’ve been able to take those opportunities to bless thousands across the communities we serve.

About “Reso”
Since we began in January 2021 we have provided over 16,152 free music lessons to underserved seniors and primary school aged youth across Singapore. At “Reso” we believe that music is a medium for meaningful connection; enabling us to be role models to the youth we serve and companions/befrienders for our seniors. We firmly believe that family/financial background should not be an obstacle preventing access to music, as such, all our programmes are conducted at no cost to our beneficiaries and charity partners.
Being that our volunteer base consists completely of students between 12-20, advocating for youth service and volunteerism is also a central focus. We are working to build a sustainable model for students to make a meaningful impact on the communities around them. We do this internally by training and equipping our volunteers with the necessary skills and externally through events which promote service and strong communities amongst youth.
This is where we need your help. We purchase most of the instruments used in our programmes, rent venues for training, and require funds for our outreach events. Our student volunteers have committed over 120,000 hours to date serving our beneficiaries, and our work continues to expand. Your donations will go a long way in enabling us to work with more beneficiaries and to continue pushing youth volunteerism forward.
About Ray of Hope
100% of your donations through Ray of Hope goes to people in need. We do not take a cut from the funds. We even cover the 3rd party credit card charges, if you choose not to, that other crowdfunding platforms deduct from your donation for campaigns.
100% of all campaigns are also fully verified, so you know your funds goes to real people with real needs.
We take donor accountability very seriously – with yearly audited accounts and strong governance in place to ensure that your donations is properly channeled to the beneficiaries.
Ray of Hope is Singapore’s only crowdfunding charity. We are a registered charity and a member of the National Council of Social Service.
