Rosalie Marchito Candoleza (Rose), 46, is from a rural town in Iloilo province in The Philippines. In 2009, she came to Singapore to work as a domestic helper and has been with the same employer throughout. On her monthly salary of $800, Rose has been supporting her elderly mother and 17 year-old adopted daughter. Rose is separated from her husband.
