Help Siti take care of her four young children
Campaign started on 18/02/2021Campaign Story
Siti is a mother of four young children aged 6, 4, 2, and 1-month-old. While her three older children go to school, Siti is caregiving her newborn baby at home.
As Siti is currently recuperating from her surgery, she is still unable to work until she gets well. The family is now relying solely on her husband’s income as a food delivery rider to get by. While the couple understands that his job may not mean a stable income, she is thankful for the flexible hours and weekly earnings that the job has to offer. Previously, Siti’s husband was having trouble finding employment due to his past criminal records. Her husband currently brings home around $600 per month to support the family. With the addition of Siti’s newborn, Siti is worried about how her husband would provide for the family financially.
Siti hopes to get well soon so that she can return to work to share the financial load with her husband when their baby is enrolled in infant care, especially when her children are slowly outgrowing the small space in their cramped two-room rental flat where they call home.
Ray of Hope would like to support Siti by raising $2,400 ($600 x 4 months) to cover their grocery expenses ($300 per month), as well as milk and diaper expenses ($300 per month). Your donations would greatly help a family struggling to get by!
*Siti is receiving financial assistance from the government.
