At SPARK, we believe that we help the ADHD child best by supporting parents and teachers to understand, accept and embrace the condition. As such, we focus our efforts on running training & educational programs for parents and teachers as well as organising social activities for families to come together in a safe space to support one another in their journey with ADHD. With support, we know that the ADHD child can thrive in life, not inspite of ADHD but because of it. Ours is a message of hope for ADHD.

The funds will be used for organising :
1) education programs for parents to help them understand ADHD and pick up knowledge & skills to support their ADHD child better;
2) education programs for teachers to help them understand ADHD and pick up knowledge & skills to support their ADHD students better; and
3) annual SPARK seminar to raise awareness of ADHD across the community.

About SPARK

SPARK is a locally registered charity supporting families with ADHD since 2000. To date, we have more than 350 registered members, most of whom are parents with ADHD children. And we have organised more than 250 peer-support meetings and trained more than 5000 parents and teachers. This year, we are especially proud to partner GIC SPARKS & SMILES program which has allowed us to engage with youth volunteers from ITE. To date, we have engaged more than 30 ITE students in organising the Cat Cafe and Study Buddy projects.
