Mdm Koh, a divorcee, lives together with her daughter and two-months-old granddaughter in a two room rental flat. Her daughter, aged 26, is working in sales earning $1,300 a month and is the main provider of the family. Mdm Koh’s son-in-law is staying with and supporting his elderly father who lives alone without any financial support.

Mdm Koh has received the $510 for her second disbursement. The caseworkers also had the chance to catch up with her, and understand that she’s coping well with her dialysis. Mdm Koh told us that the groceries that were delivered to her have also helped defray her family’s marketing expenses!

A ground-up group, Mummy Yummy has donated an almost-new wheelchair to Mdm Koh! The new wheelchair would come in extremely handy as Mdm Koh’s current wheelchair is faulty and this poses some danger when she uses it.
