Proper nutrition is crucial for the health and well-being of vulnerable elderly and children served by The Salvation Army. With your support, we aim to provide nutritious meals to those who need them the most.

What do farmpacks consists of?
Farmpacks are specially designed packs that cater to the needs of our frail elderly and vulnerable children-at-risk. Each pack includes fresh produce, such as eggs and vegetables, sourced directly from local farmers. Our goal is to provide our beneficiaries with fresh produce and also to help our local farmers and sustain our local agricultural ecosystem.

What is in the farmpack?

For the elderly:

– 3 packs of leafy vegetables

– 1 pack of Mushrooms

– 1 pack of Pea Sprouts

– 2 trays of Hen Eggs

For the children:

– 1 pack of Salad

– 1 tray of Hen Eggs

How Your Donations Will Help
With your generous contribution, you will be able to help 180 elderly and children in need with eggs and vegetables. In general, the elderly is prone to nutritional deficiencies and the children needs eggs for the growing body.

With farm packs, they can receive the nutrition they need to maintain their health.

The Local Farm aims to bring the goodness of local farms closer to our communities. As a purpose-led and sustainability-focused organisation, The Local Farm provides communities with farm-fresh food at fairtrade and builds meaningful connections between local farmers and the community. We do so through a wide range of Farm-to-Table experiences including FarmPacks for a Cause, The Local Farm Bistro & Grocer, Ready-to-Eat Products, educational programmes as well as our The Local Farm Festival and weekend markets.

The Local Farm Festival is an expanded version of our regular weekend markets. Through the Festival, we aim to broaden our reach, provide a wider range of quality farm-fresh produce, and foster collective support for our communities. The Local Farm is proudly owned by Gardenasia.
