The case workers met Mr Cheng yesterday. He updated us that he will be undergoing more checks as he is being suspected of having kidney issues. His SSO assistance also ended in August, and he has been unable to renew as he could not obtain the doctor’s letter which certifies that he is unable to work. Mr Cheng’s legs swell occasionally and when the swelling is bad, he would not be able to walk or stand for a long period of time. This was suspected to be linked to his kidney issues and his next follow-up appointment for his kidney checks is in November. He will keep us posted of his condition.
