Ray of Hope fundraises for many individuals across our island who have fallen through the cracks. Some of them are not eligible for other forms of support and others need additional support to help them tide through the difficult times.

We are thankful to all our donors over the years who have helped our clients.

However, there are some cases that require additional assistance from us, especially during unforeseen circumstances such as the COVID-19 outbreak. Some cases may also require urgent assistance in times of need. This is where the Ray of Hope General Fund comes in.

Through this fund, Ray of Hope is able to disburse quick financial assistance to families and clients in need.

How will the funds be utilised?

Ray of Hope will perform a detailed needs analysis to determine how the money each family will receive. Generally speaking, the donations are used for short-term financial assistance, paying HDB for a deposit for a flat, medical needs, etc.

100% of the donations will be disbursed to the beneficiaries; Ray of Hope does not take any of the donations for our overheads. All beneficiaries that we are helping have also been verified with documentation and relevant checks with government authorities, so you know that your donation is going to the right families.

• Injured Migrant Workers
• Single Parents
• The Isolated Elderly
• Families

100% of your donations to Ray of Hope go to people in need. We do not take a cut from the funds. 100% of all campaigns are also fully verified, so you know your funds go to real people with real needs.

At Ray of Hope, we take donor accountability very seriously. Our accounts are audited annually, and there is strong governance in place to ensure that your donations are properly channeled to the beneficiaries.
